Dave Furlong, Regional Director, North

With a degree in business management, Dave Furlong started his career working for a large DIY chain before joining Minster as a sales manager in 2015. Fast forward only five years and Dave became Minster’s Regional Director North, currently responsible for the growth and development of nine branches across Northern England.

“Being promoted to Regional Director has most certainly been a career highlight for me and something that I am passionate about giving my all. I work with a brilliant, dynamic team who are committed to their roles and deliver real solutions-led expertise to our customers. As a result, we’re achieving strong growth across the North of England and are expanding our offer across all geographical areas.”

Despite the extensive managerial and operational responsibilities of his position, Dave continues to play an active role in sales across the region.  “Providing our customers with the solutions they require will always be my main driver. I enjoy working with people, supporting my colleagues, engaging with customers or suppliers – forming relationships is the most critical part of my role.  Equally, I think it’s important to maintain an active role within the sales team despite the other demands of my job.
