As one of the industry’s leading authorities in fire protection, Carrie Blackshaw heads up our fire protection provision, responsible for driving our entire product and solutions offering for the sector and enhancing the knowledge and expertise of the entire Minster team.

It is such a critically important element of the building process and I’m committed to supporting customers to achieve the highest standards in their construction projects.”

Carrie’s fire protection knowledge and experience is vast, having spent the last 15 years at Rockwool, where she most recently held the role of UK Fire Protection Manager. From product development and fire testing though to navigating the implications of building regulations, Carrie has been involved in every element, securing IFE Level 3 and FSIDip qualifications along the way. She is passionate about education and has spent years delivering training to designers, specifiers and contractors on products/applications and installations and issues such as liability and risk.
