Minster appoints new fire protection manager

Specialist distributor Minster has announced Simon Ward will join its growing fire protection team, taking up the position of Fire Protection Manager for the North. 
 
Having held several positions in the fire protection sector, Simon possesses a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise and a broad perspective of the challenges facing industry stakeholders. Putting this expertise into practice, Simon will help Minster customers navigate the implications of building regulations as well as grow its broad solutions offering. 
 

On his appointment, Simon said: “I’m delighted to be joining what is a growing and ambitious team. Fire protection is an evolving sector. You only have to look at the regulatory changes of the past few years to realise just how important fire protection really is. With experience in manufacturing and product testing, I understand the pivotal role distributors play in delivering the right solution. Now, I aim to be a problem-solver. To support customers, contractors and end-users with the technical expertise needed to ensure compliance with robust industry standards, guidance and regulations. This is a responsibility I take seriously, and I look forward to working closely with our customers and suppliers to deliver the solutions they need.”
